Lock Seekers post their locking requirements; Lock Providers fund them via Daml smart contracts on-chain. CC never leaves the provider's control, it locks under a dedicated custody party for the agreed term while the borrower observes a Loan contract referencing the locked holding. Providers earn monthly interest.
